First of all, I love Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, traveling, and my dog CJ.

But more seriously, I grew up in Wichita, Kansas, and attended Maize High School, a 6A in Maize, a suburb of Wichita. While in high school, I worked as a graphic design intern for 2.5 years at Promo Depot, Inc. (a promotional products company).

After graduation, I moved to Hays, Kansas for the graphic design program at Fort Hays State University. For my first two years of college, I worked as a student graphic designer for the Center for Student Involvement.

Since then, I interned at a small design firm, Wheelhouse, in Edmond, Oklahoma and came back to Hays and started working for Fort Hays State University and Developmental Services of Northwest Kansas as a Graphic Design Tutor and Personal Aide. I am helping a student with cerebral palsy attain her graphic design degree here at FHSU. She is nonverbal, so she communicates her ideas via spellboard, and I help create these ideas on the computer and execute them for class. I also assist her in the home with daily living activities, errands, and homework.

I am continuing to work on projects that push me to improve my design skills conceptually, creatively, as well as aesthetically. I am now currently working as a graphic design intern at Baseline Creative in Wichita, Kansas.
